Bands and artists: beer + tasty food + music = sensation!!!
On the second Sunday of the fest, do not forget to come together at the feet of the 18.5m Bavaria statue! Open air concert of traditional music is held on the second Sunday (it’s Sep. 30th in 2012.) there. All the bands that normally play in the beer tents get together and form a huge band of 400 musicians. You can enjoy traditional musical instruments like alpenhorn as well.
Dance
Tasty beer is there. Nice music is everywhere. So now, you may want to start dancing to enjoy the fest more. How about these?
Dance 1: Jump on a chair and dance
Most common action taken by people during the fest (may get told to stop in some tents)
Dance 2: Chicken dance
This may not too hard even when you are tipsy. Someone says that people DO Chicken dance in the fest, and others say they Do Not. But anyway you are entitled to dance this. You want to learn it? Please click the "Chicken dance" above.
Dance 3:Cowboy und Indianer
