Venice in September (wonderful!)

What will come up to mind whenever hearing of Venice?
Carnival with people in dreamy, enchanted costumes?
Romantic moment on a gondola?
Well, we have more things to enjoy in Venice: Queen of in the Adriatic Sea.

69th Venice Film Festival – Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica
One of the most important film festivals in the world, along with Cannes and Berlin.
Venice Film Festival started its history in 1932, and it’s the first internationally held film festival in the world.
Quite possibly you have seen the statues or the trophy of Leone d’Oro/Golden Lion in media.
Or certainly you have checked “best dresser” or “worst dresser” celebrities in magazines (I? yes, I do.)

You are into cinema/movie?
You are into fabulous movie stars and fashion?

Well, why don’t you enjoy the moment there, not on TV or in magazine, but on site?

Regata Storica
Just between you and me, I’m more interested in this event than film festival.
Venice is The City of Waterways!

Regatta is “has been practiced in the Venetian lagoon for thousands of years and today it is particularly well-known for the spectacular historical water pageant that precedes the race. Scores of typically 16th century-style boats with gondoliers in period costume carry the Doge, the Doge's wife and all the highest ranking Venetian officials up the Grand Canal in a brightly coloured parade. An unforgettable sight and a true reconstruction of the glorious past of one of most the powerful and influential Maritime Republics in the Mediterranean.”

 When: September 2nd
Where: Venice, Italy
For more info, please visit the official website of Regata Storica.

Enjoy!!
