Chinese New Year in Hong Kong



The biggest celebration in Hong Kong: Chinese New Year is around the corner.

From February 4th to 23rd, Hong Kong is packed with colourful and vibrant festivals to celebrate Chinese New year. You can enjoy such as flower market, night parade, fireworks, and incense-filled temples.


Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade
This 18th annual night parade is the main event of the Hong Kong Chinese New Year.
Date: February 10th (Chinese New Year’s Day)
Time: 8pm to 9:30pm
Location: Tsim Sha Tsui area (Canton, Haiphong, Nathan roads)

2013 Chinese Lunar New year Fireworks Display
Around 30minute celebration of fireworks to usher New Year.
Date: February 11th
Time: from 8pm
Location: Victoria Harbour
