Best cosplayers who have won preliminary contests around the world get together in Nagoya, Japan, to compete and choose the best of the best costumes, acting, etc.
In 2012, they are expecting cosplayers from 20 countries: Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdome, and USA.
Nagoya geographically locates in the middle of Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka, and it’s very easy to stop by on the way between these cities.
So, why don’t you get off the train/Shinkansen bullet train at Nagoya, and step into “very foreign country” for a while?
